Fuelling your body means nourishing your body with a variety of foods it needs to function at its best. Food and water give your body the fuel it needs to grow, learn and play. Choose foods that make you feel good and give you the energy you need. Food can also connect us to others by eating together, talking and enjoying food. This can help fuel your mind and body!

 

What you eat can affect how you feel, and how you feel can affect your food choices. Eating a variety of food provides nutrients your brain needs to make natural chemicals (neurotransmitters) that affect your memory, learning, sleep, appetite and feelings of

well-being. Eating foods that nourish your body, can help balance your mood, cope with stress and stay focused.
